Digitalis hybrida 'Camelot Rose'

Common Name: Foxglove

One of the very best foxgloves for flower quality and multiple cycles of rebloom throughout the summer. Massive spires of light to bright rose pink flowers with burgundy spotting inside are produced all the way around the stems.

This selection is described as a short-lived perennial rather than a biennial. It blooms the first year from seed.  It is also reportedly very heat tolerant compared to other foxgloves.

Digitalis forms large rosettes of downy, green, oblong leaves from which numerous flower spikes emerge. It looks especially nice when planted along fences, at the wood's edge, or in large containers.
