Natalie Gulbis

Natalie Gulbis HOF
In Natalie Gulbis's one year at Arizona, she accomplished more on the golf course than many student athletes do in four years. As a freshman, Natalie earned first team All Pac 10 and first team All-America honors and was named a finalist for the Honda Award. A strong summer on the links following her freshman year convinced Natalie to pursue her dream as a professional golfer. The calling suited her well. In 2002, Natalie earned her LPGA card, tallied four top 10 finishes and placed second in the Rolex LPGA Rookie Points Race. In 2005, Natalie earned #1 million in a season for the first time. For an encore, she joined fellow UA alumni Lorena Ochoa as one of only two women to finish in the top 20 of all four major championships. In 2007, Natalie became a Rolex First-Time Winner at the Evian Masters, she clinched the victory on a sudden death one-hole playoff. Perhaps most telling of Natalie's success was an honor bestowed upon her in 2008 by her fellow LPGA tour members, who recognized Natalie's exemplary behavior and values by awarding to her the William and Mousie Powell Award.
