Yellowback Anthias

Mirolabrichthys evansi

Purple with broad yellow stripes from the neck to the tail root and in the two tail lobes.

Size : 10 cm

Habitat : Usually at reef slopes near or hardly more than two meters above the seabed, 3-40 m. Usually in small groups, less often in larger schools.

Distribution : East Africa to Mauritius, Andaman Sea and Christmas Islands
