Fortuna is hanging onto a high bridge inside Midas’ Cave while Shamura used their silk to affix her tail, essentially turning her into a hammock. I was thinking of the song that plays when Dumbo visits his mother in the movie🥺
Paidia is younger than Gustav despite being Fortuna’s sister. In a scenario where Gustav gets to be accepted by Fortuna, Gustav refers to Shamura as Guardian while Fortuna gets called Mother. The quail views Midas as a brother but the starfish refuses to view Fortuna as a mother, preferring to keep her as his goddess. Paidia calls Gustav licorice : ]

In Midas’ Cave, in the well, there are many gods trapped under the gold. When the bishops all fall, these gods break free, taking what they’ve given Midas with them. But four gods stay behind for some reason. These are the gods.
Ibuprofen, a minor health god in the shape of a lobster. It gave Midas the curse of Conditional Mortality, not allowing Midas to perish unless it wills so. It also healed both Midas and other gods whenever someone (mostly Shamura) decided to fight them. Ibuprofen wasnt always it’s name but due to having had no followers in a long time, it forgot itself more and more until seeking help from Fortuna.
Glühwyrm, a minor god of Light, is the same kinda Wyrm as Hollow Knight’s Pale King because Why The Hell Not. But unlike the Pale King, Glühwyrm failed to invade the lands of the Old Faith and gained merely a small following and even that focused only on his light and not himself. Under Fortuna’s care, Glühwyrm thought about expanding his domains but so far, singing is more of a hobby than anything.
Dolos, goddess of Lies, Deception and Rumors, is the one who spread the wishing well and Golden Gods rumors in the first place but is otherwise a more reclusive deity. She was also the one with the idea to not rush out and fight the Lamb like all the other gods but for most it was too late, already out the cave and meeting their end.
Fortuna, The Golden Goddess of the Wishing Well, Luck, Riches and Wishes. Even before taking in Midas, she was a kind goddess that swore to protect anyone who needs her help and with the Bishops, it was weak gods who couldnt stand their ground but refused to fully cease. Shamura fascinated her, a deity who never relied on luck and rarely played for fun, quite the contrast to Fortuna’s fun loving self, she even introduced games of chance to the people. So she’ll gladly fight the Bishop of War, knowing they wont win against Luck herself. But with enough time, even a nigh impossibility becomes a certainty.
This starfish is so full of gold and his gods refuse to let him die.
Midas is normally not allowed to fight due to his life being incredibly important to keep his gods alive but when push turns to shove, Fortuna might have to take over. Very dangerous move on all fronts for everyone involved, very taxing on both Fortuna and especially Midas, who is conscious but cant react to any of the pain while Fortuna is in control. Battle injuries is something Ibuprofen, the lobster and minor god of health, cant really help to heal due to being able to heal Midas from any other injury with no problem.
Thinking about dandelions being a very good flower for Fortuna. Golden yellow, hard to get rid of, grants wishes.
