Notes Woodblock print from the series "A Tour of Waterfalls in Various Provinces" (Shokoku taki-meguri) with a waterfall in Yoshino in Yamato Province and two peasants scrubbing their horse beneath, reminds of how the samurai Minamoto Yoshitsune (1159-1189), commander of the Minamoto clan, is said to have done the same while taking refuge in the mountains (Washū Yoshino Yoshitsune uma arai no taki).
