John Hodgman will take his acting expertise to Pawnee and guest-star in an episode of Parks and Recreation. The four-eyed Daily Show contributor/author, who is no stranger to public radio appearances, will assume the role of August Clementine, public radio host and super snobby Eagletonian. The episode also features the return of Derry Murbles (The Simpsons‘ Dan Castellaneta), host of Wamapoke County Public Radio’s Thoughts for Your Thoughts, as Derry is forced to share his show with August now that Eagleton has been absorbed into Pawnee. This merger does not go smoothly.

The Hodgman-Castellaneta installment is slated to air on NBC later this winter, after the Olympics.

Kristen Bell, Heidi Klum, Henry Winkler, Tatiana Maslany and Sam Elliott are among the celebrities who have appeared in season 6 of Parks.
