Our rival- FC Dnipro
Today Dinamo Tbilisi will play the last friendly match in Netherlands. In the city of Arnhem Michal Bilek’s team will compete with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk that is on the second place in Ukrainian championship. FC Dnipro finished the championship successfully and will play of Champions League after 25 years.
 
 
FC Dnipro was established in Dnipropetrovsk in 1918. The initial name of the club was Brit. After that it was called Petrovets, Stal and Metalurn. In 1961 it was named Dnipro. The main colors of the team are Blue, white and light blue. Till 2008 Dnipro played home matches at Meteor. The new stadium of the team is Dnipro Arena, that is built for 31 000 spetators.
 
 
Dnipro was one of the best teams of Soviet championship. In 1989 it was the first proffessional football club of Soviet Union. In 1983 and 1988 Dnipro became champion of Soviet Union and in 1987 and 1989 it took the second place. In 1989 Dipro won Crystal Cup and Super Cup. Our rival won silver medals in Ukrainian championship in 1993 and 2014 years. Maslachenko, Porkuian, Biba, Ptotasov, Litovchenko, Liut, Demianenko, Taran, Bagmut played in Dnipro in different times. There are outstanding players in the team today as well: Konoplyanka, Rotan, Fedetskiy, Zozulya, Kalinic, Strinic.
Captain of Georgian national team Jaba Kankava plays in Dnipro. One more Georgian footballer Sandro Kobakhidze is not on this camp.
Dnipro has a new head coach. Ukrainian football specialist Miron Markevych is the head coach of the team. He substituted Juande Ramos
