François Coty was one of the first perfumers to recognize the importance of packaging, and he made sure that every bottle looked just as alluring as it smelled. Years later, our fragrance bottles continue to push aesthetic boundaries to inspire the people who wear them.
I love Coty's approach on packaging. This makes so much sense! I love EVERYTHING about perfume and if it's got a nice look to it, I love it even more on my dresser!
I recall loving the aroma of L'Emeraude, too. Mom and Grandma both wore it. Will be looking for this during the holidays!

About packaging - Coty's Emeraude was launched in 1921. The original bottle was made in an exquisite emerald cut flacon designed by jewelry Art nouveau master René Lalique. A perfect match for the "jewel fragrance" that is also the very first Oriental - according to many historians. Perfumer François Coty was so impressed by René Lalique’s designs that he asked him to put his talent to work for the perfume industry. Their work together transformed the perfume industry and made it possible for the first time to offer perfumes in attractive bottles at affordable prices. From then on, Lalique worked increasingly on designs for the perfume sector, finally devoting himself entirely to more industrial techniques of glass production. (source çafleurbon website)
Fully agree
Stunning!
Nice
I agree. I have a collection of over 30 full size scents... some for the beauty of the bottle. I'm really into custom scents now.
