Watch: K’Lavon Chaisson posts epic workout video on the beach

The Jacksonville Jaguars reported to training camp Tuesday, and will begin preparing for activities on the field which will come later. Last week, the rookies kicked off the initial COVID-19 testing phase and then the veterans followed it up. With everyone in attendance at the moment, the next three days will consist of virtual meetings and testing, then the roster will proceed to get physicals done.

In the meantime, it appears working out will be left up to the players as they eagerly await physical activities with their teammates. As we’ve seen this summer, it will be hard-pressed to find anyone who has done that better than first-round rookie selection K’Lavon Chaisson, who has posted several workout videos on social media. That trend continued Tuesday as he posted a new workout video, this time at the beach — and don’t worry fans it wasn’t around a huge crowd.

An offer for Jags fans

Chaisson is a player many fans have been eager to see on the field and his videos have only made them more anxious. Uncertain of Yannick Ngakoue’s future, the Jags took him with the No. 20 overall pick in April’s draft after watching him aid the Louisiana State Tigers’ defense to a championship run and victory.

Chaisson will enter camp anticipating a battle with Cassius Marsh and Leon Jacobs for snaps at strong-side linebacker. He’ll also see time on the field for third-down situations as a pass-rusher, something he did at a high level for the Tigers in 2019 despite only accumulating 6.5 sacks statistically.
