INGREDIENTS

1 pound lean ground beef

1 pound lean ground pork

1 can of evaporated milk

1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup bread crumbs

2 eggs

1 grated onion

Salt and pepper to taste

Butter

Olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS

1) In a large bowl, combine the lean ground beef and pork, and add the surprising touch of evaporated milk, flour, bread crumbs, eggs, grated onion, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until you achieve a thick, delightful paste. Let it sit for about 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and intensify.

2) Heat a large frying pan on the stove and add enough butter to lightly coat the pan. To prevent the butter from burning, add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. This combination adds a rich, golden touch to your Frikadeller.

3) Shape the mixture into delightful oval meatballs. To ensure they don't stick, dip a large tablespoon into water before spooning out portions.

4) Place the Frikadeller in the hot pan, searing them for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they achieve a tempting golden brown exterior and are cooked to perfection.
