📌On April 4, during the Shadows Day organized by Junior Achievement Latvia, students from different schools in Latvia had the opportunity to get to know our company Skonto Plan better, ''shadow'' our professionals, learn about the professions they are interested in, and visit the production factory in Tukums. This year, students chose to shadow engineering professions: ✏️Structural Engineer ✏️Design Engineer ✏️Production Engineer Students from Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Sigulda, and Tukums participated in the event. We are glad that the children of our colleagues also showed a special interest in participating in the Shadows Day at Skonto Plan this year. At the end of the day, the students shared their impressions, admitting that the professions they shadowed are exciting, and the Shadow Day at Skonto Plan has inspired them to aim to study engineering. 🏅Thank you to our responsive colleagues who agreed to be the ''shadow givers''! 🏅And thank you to the students for participating in Shadows Day, and we wish you luck in choosing the right profession! #ēnudiena2024

CNC equipment operator Edgars Koncevojs joined the Skonto Plan team in 2013 as a factory production worker. When starting work at the company, Edgars produced window and facade elements, but later accepted the company's offer to learn CNC technologies and work with CNC machines. Edgars admits that the most interesting aspect of his work is that every day brings new tasks, shapes, and sizes of processed structures, so he constantly has to think about what he's doing. Seeing the result – our implemented projects located in London – brings satisfaction and the awareness that he represents the company with his work worldwide. We thank Edgars for his loyalty to the company, successful cooperation, as well as active participation in the sports activities organized by the company! ✨

✔Production Quality Control Manager Aleksandrs Rozentāls joined Skonto Plan in 2011 and took over the management of the quality laboratory and dye-work operations. Appreciating Aleksandrs’ ability to be detail-oriented and ensure the best quality of processes and products, he was offered to lead the Production quality department. Aleksandrs says that he appreciates the opportunity to gain new knowledge, be challenged, and share his experience with his colleagues, as well as having an impact on product quality.
