I have been coming to Le Kebab for over 10 years, and have never had a bad meal or service. Dine in or take out, it's some of the best middle eastern food I've had, outside of the actual Middle East.
The lamb shawarma is my usual go-to from the menu, but I've also tried several of the daily specials. Some of these may include cuts of meat that are a bit different to the western world, but if you go in with an open mind, you may find some new foods that you really enjoy.
Le Kebab has never disappointed, and I would encourage patrons to expand their palette by trying some of the daily specials.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 7, 2024
Yesterday was my first time visiting this place and it will be my last. The food was decent (not great), but I was appalled by the way management treats the staff. I definitely will not be going back.
It was kind of weird going into a kebab spot that felt as sterile as a hospital, but I guess I should never complain about a food establishment being clean. I walked up to place my to go order and saw that there was a blaring huge sign that said 10% service fee for dining in, good thing I was getting mine to go. I then looked at the menu and saw at the bottom of every page the phrase "Kindly, we add 10% to 15% service charge". Doesn't say to whom or why or what. No clue if I caught that charge for using my credit card as I didn't get a receipt.
That wasn't the deal breaker though. An employee admitted to the lady manager that she had given someone the wrong sandwich in their order, she gave them chicken when they wanted lamb, or something like that. The boss then tirelessly berated this poor girl over and over again. And then had the nerve to say that if anything like this happened again on a to go order it would be taken out of the employee's paychecks. Another guy asked, "even me" and she said yeah you too. I don't think this is legal, I wanted to say something to the employees about their legal rights, but I was also the only white guy in there at the time, I was still waiting on the food I paid for and was in a hurry. I hope they read this, contact the DOL and find a job where they are respected and treated like humans.
Cava has similar food right across the street. There are a couple of halal carts near by that are cheaper and better. And of course, the old staple of Le Shish Kabab is still there, just not in the University area.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 101250588Nov 20, 2023
Loved this place I can't believe I have never been before! Service was great. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful.
I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with fries and yellow rice as my two sides. It came with so much chicken! I loved the seasoning on the fries and the rice. The chicken was super flavorful and tender. I also loved the garlic sauce that it came with. I even ordered a 16oz container of it to take home. My sister had the chicken kebabs and they were also very tender. They had a nice chargrilled flavor as well.
Overall, everything was so fresh and flavorful and I will definitely come back to try other menu items!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 28, 2023
Came in town for a conference and decided to try this place.
The waitress was nice and answered a lot of questions from us.
For appetizers, we got the hummus to share. It was pretty big... very delicious! Actually everything here is in very big size. For 3 people, probably 2 entrees are enough.
I had the Shawarma with both chicken and lamb. They didn't have it on the menu as mixed but I asked for it. It came with a wrap under the meat if you don't select any rice as a side. The two sides I got were the chicken vegetable soup and sauteed vegetables. The soup turned out so good!!! I really love it. The meat was dry for both the chicken and lamb... they taste good. The sauteed veggies were a bit undercooked but okay.
My friend got the plate with 3 kabobs over yellow rice. Also turned out very good but too much food.
The place is not big at all but they have nice setup at the end of the store.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tracy B.Mountain Island, Charlotte, NC09253May 9, 2024Updated review
Shawarma plate with veggies and yellow rice. Large portion enough for 2 or 3 people easily. I ate a portion and it looks like I barely ate it. Flavor good but veggies have no seasoning at all. Wish they would've at least added a dash of salt on the veggies. Garlic sauce is tasty. But that helped.

Greek salad was fantastic. Too much for one person to eat. The falafel amazing some of the best I've ever had.

I came to Le Kebab for the first time with family and friends, and we had such a positive and delicious experience.
The food tasted delicious and was truly traditional, the ambience was good and clean, and the service was great.
There were 5 of us in our party, so we ordered quite a few dishes, such as the chicken shawarma, the beef and chicken skewers, the lentil soup, the falafel, hummus and baba ganoush, the fried cauliflower, and the veal chops. We were not disappointed. Everything was tasty, and I personally noticed it was not that salty, which I appreciated. For drinks we tried the home made lemonade, and we loved it!
The location was easy to get to with the GPS as it is located in a popular shopping plaza with other restaurants and stores with its own free parking lot.
Overall, 100% recommended.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ben S.SC, SC084May 5, 2024
Lunch was good, but overpriced if you ask me. They automatically charge you an extra 10% just for eating inside, and that doesn't include a tip. We ended up paying $100 (with tip) for 2 adults & 3 kids.
Also, don't get the kids chicken nuggets cause it's just the typical McDonalds kind, not actual filets.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rasheed M.Fort Mill, SC03May 4, 2024
Just order ahead of time because they need time making the food

I love this place. I used to come here every single week when I lived in the area and now that I've moved, I revisited it and the food and service was just as I left it :) I love how they have tasty vegetarian options! The menu is full of variety. I normally call and place my order but this recent time I placed it online and saw that it was canceled so I called. (I would recommend calling to place an order or dining in) The restaurant has many culture statements and a station with free Qurans. When I went to pickup my order, they kindly double checked my bag to make sure everything was in it and I appreciated that :) This is definitely one of my favorite places in the university area.
