This is a great stadium, but if you go and watch a match make sure you get in the stading section - it's massive and the atmosphere is great, especially if Werder win!
Beers are about EUR3.80 plus a one euro deposit for a souvineer cup... I decided to pay one euro and keep the cup rather than give it back to get my money! Great club, great fans.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 6, 2010Previous reviewSehr Gut stadion!

The Werder Bremen stadium is easily accessible from the city center via the tram system (a stop very close by, a short stroll to the stadium).
I visited on a non-match day (could not schedule a game in unfortunately), but in a way, it worked out better. The club shop was fairly large, with the usual sale of jerseys, scarfs, mugs, caps, the whole set.
The club museum was also fairly impressive, with past trophies and match day photos on display, this provided a good taste of the Werder Bremen experience. Unfortunately, the display was primarily in German so it was a bit difficult to understand, and the staff were not too confident with English either. Nevertheless, this should be interesting and appealing to any football fan.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
