Wrenwood Ranch

This is my favorite place to stay in the Hill Country. It's minutes from everything Johnson City has to offer, a half hour drive to Fredericksburg and an even shorter drive to the many wineries that make the area such a popular destination. Chad and Keisha are sincere and amazing hosts and have clearly put a lot of thought into what makes a stay care free and relaxing not to mention there is a winery within walking distance. Highly recommended.

We just finished our second stay at Wrenwood Ranch and cannot say enough good things about this wonderful property!

The Wrenwood Ranch is a true hill country gem located right off the 290 Wine Trail in Johnson City, TX. The owners, Chad & Keisha, are building their dream property of new adorable cottages and continue to expand their unique cottage offerings. On my birthday weekend we stayed at the Garofalo cottage and we had the absolute best stay. This particular cottage features a comfortable King bed, a full kitchen. TV, cozy new couch and a table that is perfect for enjoying a meal or getting a little work done and a private deck complete with a grill. We enjoyed taking in the beautiful mornings with a cup of coffee on the deck with birds chirping and winding down from the perfect day with a glass of wine.

Can you say epic LOCATION?! Not only is Wrenwood Ranch located within minutes of many top Texas wineries, you can walk to a Texas winery literally next door.

my wife and I stayed at Wrenwood after our Grandson's football game in Comfort. Staying here save us a 4 hour trip late at night to our home near Waco. Super clean, very convenient to Fredericksburg and surrounding area. We have stayed at Wrenwood 6 or 7 times and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday getaway and it was so amazing! It had everything me needed and Chad and Keisha are amazing hosts. Cozy, comfy, and so relaxing - a great place to unwind from the business of the city. This will definitely be our go to place when visiting the Hill Country. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay!! We recommend this place and would stay here again. Host has stocked place with everything you need and bed was so comfortable. Our stay was relaxing, quiet and so enjoyable. We got to visit the chickens and flower beds before we left and it was nice visiting with the the host before leaving. It's a must stay when your on the wine trail, it's convenient to so many wineries.

From the moment you take that drive up the gravel driveway it already feels like you are in relax and restore mode! The cutest cottages with all of the right amenities, I stayed in cottage 1, it was clean, cool and has the most comfortable bed. The hosts were amazing and had so much information about the surrounding wineries. Coming from California and that being wine country and all, I was up for a new adventure here in the Texas Hill County. I was not disappointed and even the resorts feel was reminiscent of the California foothills. Great location, perfect hosts. Coffee and a light breakfast (oatmeal, or cereal bars) was all I needed that day. My cottage did not have an oven, however a refrigerator and microwave was all that I needed wasn't planning on cooking meals for myself, however there was also a grill on my deck for my use of I wanted to. Check in is so simple with a lockbox and code, easy instructions sent in email. Can't wait to visit again! The birds signing as I had my coffee on my deck was just a slice of paradise.

Great cabin for a couple or family get away. Perfect location, lovely and very responsive hosts, everything you need to enjoy Fredericksburg, Johnson City and everything in between. Will definitely be back!!

Cabin was perfect combination of rustic and modern. Had everything needed including pots, pans,.silver ware both plastic and real and even baking sheets for potentially and extended stay. Bathroom was well stocked with towels and necessities. All the luxuries of a hotel without all the fuss of close rooms with thin walls or over booked guests. First air b and b rental so was nervous but couldn't have gone easier for check in and check out. Met the owners as they were out and about the property. Very nice couple and Chad gave us recommendations on vineyards and restaurants, all local secrets including best place to catch sunset and sunrise. There's a cute fire pit out back they provided everything to start and turn off fire and flashlights so we could walk to the connected vineyard. And omgosh the deer that come within 20/30 yards from you. It was a perfect way to get away without all the inconveniences of camping. Would definitely stay again!
