Thralls are undead beings which can be summoned to attack enemies.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Thralls are summoned with resurrection spells in the Arceuus spellbook, which requires completion of A Kingdom Divided. In addition to the required Magic level and runes, the player must have the book of the dead either wielded or in their inventory, along with 2-6 prayer points in order to summon a thrall.

Thralls are very powerful allies as while they hit very low (their max hit being 1 to 3 depending on tier), they are almost always guaranteed to hit and ignore the target's defensive bonuses (zeroes are possible), which is especially useful for combat achievements requiring speed kills and places where magic spells (not including powered staves) are not needed. Thralls have an attack speed of 4, or once every 2.4 seconds.

The magic thralls' projectiles will hit enemies 1 tick earlier than the ranged thralls. Therefore, magic thralls are preferred whenever there are no special type resistances.

Thralls will remain for a set amount of time (0.6*CurrentMagicLevel seconds). There is a ten second cooldown before the player can cast another resurrection spell, although the current thrall will despawn in the process.

As the thrall's duration is dependent on the player's Magic level, boosting it will subsequently increase the thrall's duration:

Magic level Normal With Master Combat Achievements With Grandmaster Combat Achievements
22.8 seconds 34.2 seconds 45.6 seconds
34.2 seconds 51.3 seconds 68.4 seconds
45.6 seconds 68.4 seconds 91.2 seconds
59.4 seconds 89.1 seconds 118.8 seconds
65.4 seconds 98.1 seconds 130.8 seconds
67.2 seconds 100.8 seconds 134.4 seconds
72 seconds 108 seconds 144 seconds
75.6 seconds 113.4 seconds 151.2 seconds

Thralls cannot pass between rooms (for example, a thrall summoned in the Corporeal Beast lobby will remain there even when the player enters the Beast's arena and attacks it)
