1. New Year’s Eve Times Square Ball Drop
One of New York City’s most iconic New Year’s traditions is watching the famous ball drop over Times Square. An estimated 1 million people flock to Midtown to countdown the new year and watch the confetti fly! The event is free and and open to everyone on a first-come first-serve basis. 2. Fireworks at Grand Army Plaza
NYC will be full of firework displays this NYE, with one of the most iconic being in Brooklyn near Prospect Park! This free fireworks show includes a live performance by Quintessential Playlist, who will play live music at 10 pm before the fireworks begin! RSVP here and see all of NYC’s NYE fireworks here.
3. New Year’s Eve at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt
Kick off the new year 1,100 ft in the air and be one with the NYC skyline this New Year’s at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. This unique experience to ring in 2024 includes a champagne toast and sweet treats at a delectable dessert bar. Dance to the tunes DJ Kristaval will be spinning all night, too.

4. NYRR Midnight Run
Run your way into 2024 with New York Road Runners’ annual Midnight Run that also helps runners qualify for the NYC Marathon! Embark on a 4 mile run when the clock strikes 12 and end up in Central Park to a lovely fireworks display! Learn more about the race and register beforehand here.
5. New Year’s Week with Teksupport
NYC’s premier underground event collective Teksupport is hosting an impressive week long string of events leading up to 2024. This year’s programming is set to feature noteworthy house and techno selectors for a series of seven shows across three venues. Check out their stacked lineup below and register for presale now:

6. NYE Week with Tinlicker
Ring in the New Year in absolute style at The Brooklyn Hangar with a DJ set from Dutch duo Tinlicker! The show is on NYE and is set to feature a live performance by Booka Shade, and more incredible artists as well including Sohmi, Romain Garcia, and Naz.

7. Ring in 2024 With A Bang! New Year’s Soirée
Join over 200 people at Stitch Bar & Blues where you’ll be welcomed to a wine, beer, and sangria open bar, and a great DJ queuing up hip-hop and Top 40 hits. It’s happening on NYE from 8 pm – 1 am!

8. NYE Week with Nora en Pure
Deep house artist Nora en Pure is kicking off NYE weekend with a Brooklyn Hangar show on December 29! She’ll be bringing her pulsating beats and mesmerizing tunes to start off the festivities starting at 9 pm!

11. NEW YORK NEW YORK 2024 at The Roxy Hotel
This 70’s inspired NYC Ball Drop will feature a legendary lineup of DJ performances by Nina Tarr, Delphine Blue, The Muses, and Kristine Barilli. Premium bars will be serving champagne and other drinks all night, and different tiers of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and bottles will be offered too. Dressing up is also highly encouraged!

12. New Years Eve 2024 at Daintree Rooftop
Daintree is one of our favorite winter rooftops in NYC, and it’s a great spot to spend NYE this year too. This year’s New Years Eve Party will feature access to the best views of NYC’s skyline, an open bar (9 pm – 12 am), a live DJ, hors d’oeuvres, and a complimentary midnight Champagne toast! Dress to impress and enjoy the sweeping aerial views!

13. The Last New Year’s Eve at The McKittrick Hotel
This one-night-only soirée at The McKittrick Hotel invites guests to “embrace their inner icon and satiate their lust for luster.” As the clock counts down to midnight and the dazzling lights of the dance floor arrives, this immersive party will bring the inner Disco Diva or Glam Rock leader that you always wished to be! Of course there will be dreamy cocktails, dancing, performances, and so much more across the hotel.

14. The Book Of The Forbidden New Years Eve Celebration 2024 at Somewhere Nowhere
This event features live music from Walshy Fire (of Major Lazer), a premium open bar from 8 pm – 12:30 am, live theatrical performances, and an exclusive fireworks display to kickoff the New Year festivities. Attendees will be able to enjoy an open bar all night, starting at 8 pm.

15. New Year’s Eve Dinner and Rooftop Party at The Peninsula
Dress in festive gala attire and ring in 2024 high above the lights of Fifth Avenue. The Peninsula’s Salon de Ning rooftop bar will transform its two terraces and dance floor into a high-energy party of socializing and music. There will be live music from Rock & Pop cover band The Chip Shop Boys from London, as well as a raw bar, hors d’oeuvres, and specialty cocktail bar. It’s $650 per person or $850 if you want to include a 5 course dinner.

Hop aboard Circle Line cruises and celerbate on the water with this once-in-a-lifetime fireworks cruise on the Hudson River with the magic of the New York skyline as your backdrop! One of our favorite NYC jazz clubs is doing some NYE programming this year, which includes a three-course menu, a glass of champagne at midnight, and an epic live jazz set from vocal phenom, Stella Katherine Cole!
