SYMBIOSIS PARASITISM

SIMBIOSIS PARASITISME~ In this type of symbiosis one of the parties will benefit from the organism that became his partner. Organisms that get food (beneficial) are mostly smaller in size than the living creatures that are taken (disadvantaged).

DID U KNOW ABOUT PARASITIC PLATNTS....... ?

Scientific classification of parasitic plants

Kingdom Plantae
Division Magnoliophyta
Class Magnoliopsida
Order Santalales
Family Loranthaceae
Genus Loranthus Jacq.

PARASITIC PLANTS

(Loranthus) is a mandatory parasite plant that lives and grows on the branches (branches) of other plant trees. Parasitic plants come from seeds carried by animals such as birds, insects or other animals. Plants that include parasitic plants are parasitic plants, fungi, weeds and others. It usually grows around or in the body of the parent plant. parasitic plants can be found easily on large trees in the tropics. Seeds of this plant on the fruit produces sap like glue-shaped jelly sticky.

parasitic plants absorb food from the host tree, thus harming the host, if allowed parasitic plants can multiply and can cause the host plants thin and eventually dry and the host plants to die.
The spread of this plant occurs assisted by birds, when the birds eat the fruit and seeds and then excrete on the branches of the tree, the sticky seeds will stick to the branches of the tree will further germinate and young parasites begin to grow.

Parasitic plantson its host

Parasitic plants including plant seeds and green leafy. The parasitic plant roots are not perfect so they are not able to absorb water and nutrients directly from the soil. To meet the need for water and nutrients, Parasitic plants riding on twigs of other types of plants. then its roots in the form of a suction device will penetrate into the plant carrier network that it occupies. Then parasites will absorb water and nutrients dissolved in it. So that the host plant loses due to water and nutrients that will be used for his life is absorbed by Parasitic plants. As a result of the Parasitic plants, the plants they occupy will die.

Parasitic plants cacao L (Dendropthoe pentandra L )

Dendrophthoe pentandra L. is a parasitic plant that can grow on the type of plant species such as mango, jackfruit, guava and cocoa. Dendrophthoe pentandra L. is a type of Parasitic plants used as traditional medicinal plants are widespread in Indonesia. Differences in host Parasitic plants are expected to produce different secondary metabolites, so research needs to be done to see which parasitic plants have the best efficacy in overcoming various diseases especially in pathogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Nasution et al, 2008).

Take with vivo V5s

the damage caused by pasasitic plants in cocoa plants is very rich, because the process of spreading is very fast. if not acted quickly then parasatic plants in cocoa plants will quickly spread and damage the entire plant. as for preventing the spread of parasatic plants in cocoa plants is :

Pruning cacao plants

This pruning sounds simple, but if the pruning is not done properly, then the results of the cacao plant production will actually decrease. Moreover, if too dense, it will arise parasites such as mosses, parasites etc that are attached to the stems of cocoa plants.
