OK, OK, we're still several weeks away from the unofficial start of summer, a.k.a. Memorial Day weekend, but admit it — you're already longing for those endless sunny days, weekend beach trips, and backyard hangs, aren't you? There's no time like the present to start planning your summer beauty game, and Rihanna's here to serve up some inspo, per usual.
Rih wore the most perfectly undone easy bun in a new Fenty Beauty video posted to her Instagram to promote the brand's upcoming Soft’Lit Luminous Foundation, which she describes as a “golden hour glow, bottled.” At the beginning of the video, her honey-blonde hair is long and loose, parted in the center and styled in soft bends, but just seconds later, it's pulled up in an effortlessly gorgeous simple bun right at the crown of her head, with two teeny tiny ringlets on either side of her face.
You know how sometimes you pull your hair up and without even trying, you've created the ultimate undone bun? This is the definition of that, courtesy hairstylist Ken Lee. It's the kind of look you can wear to a patio brunch, a day at the park or the beach, and then out at night, and it always looks good. The bun itself is perfectly messy, with little pieces of hair pulled out just so for that “done, but not too done” feeling.

Makeup artist Priscilla Ono, Rihanna's longtime collaborator, matched the beachy summer aesthetic with glowy skin courtesy the new foundation, peachy blush, and equally glowy, gleaming lip gloss. Rihanna's medium-length nails were filed into a square shape and painted a delicate, versatile milky color to suit the laid-back vibe of the shoot.
This foundation must be pretty amazing, because Rihanna went so far as to change her beyond iconic Instagram profile picture to promote it! (Just scroll the post and you'll see lots of comments about it.) The foundation comes in 50 shades and promises a natural, waterproof finish. Sounds like summer in a bottle to me!
