Hiroshi Sugito

Hiroshi Sugito (Born 1970) is active/lives in Japan.  Hiroshi Sugito is known for Painting.

Hiroshi Sugito's artistic work is closely linked to his biography.  As a child, he spent several years in the US, so that he had to relearn his mother tongue when returning to Japan.  Besides, his childhood was extended due to the requirement of repeating a number of classes.  For this reason, the artist seems to have kept a child's view on the world.

Sugito later studied traditional Japanese painting, called "Nihon-ga", and has become active as a freelance artist in his native city of Nagoya.  A close friendship connects him with the Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara (b. 1959). (cbo)
