Boy campaigns against Apple's 'nerd' glasses emoji
A boy has started a petition asking Apple to change its "offensive and insulting" glasses emoji.
Teddy, 10, from Peppard, Oxfordshire, believes the icon, with its prominent front teeth, gives the wrong impression of people who wear glasses.
Teddy has called his own revamp of the symbol - which is often colloquially referred to as the nerd emoji - as the genius emoji, and hopes the tech company will adopt it.
Teddy said if Apple took his ideas on board it would "feel amazing".
The BBC has contacted Apple for comment.
