The Good News Is That Santa Is Real, The Bad News Is That His Remains Have Been Discovered

    RIP, Santa.

I know it's only October and fall lovers don't want anything overshadowing their precious Halloween costumes and pumpkin-spice-flavored stuff, but there's some pretty serious Christmas news that needs to interrupt the festivities.

No, Tim Allen isn't doing a fourth installment of the Santa Clause movies.

And sadly, Will Ferrell still isn't doing an Elf sequel.

However, this news is still quite interesting. Turkish archaeologists believe they recently discovered Santa Claus's tomb.

According to Newsweek, the tomb was found in St. Nicholas Church, located in Turkey, and they think the remains inside of it belong to Saint Nicholas — the original Santa Claus.

The remains of St. Nicholas, who was known for his acts of kindness, were previously believed to have been in Italy.

The shrine underneath the church is believed to be undamaged, but it's a challenge to get to because of mosaics on the floor.

We can only hope they also find some sweet, vintage Christmas candy while they're down there!
