From Corrie to the Upper East Side! Helen Flanagan embraces her inner Blair Waldorf in Chanel-style shorts and matching jacket
She's better known for living in Weatherfield, but it seems that Helen Flanagan has aspirations to move to the Upper East Side.
The soap-star embraced Manhattan chic in tiny shorts and a matching suit jacket on Wednesday, as she admitted to stealing her look from Gossip Girl character Blair Waldorf.
Unashamed of the fact that she was copying her style, Helen posted a picture of the 'mood board' that she had created for outfit inspiration to her Twitter account.
Clearly she has a lot of time on her hands.

The 22-year-old, who typically favours skintight lycra outfits, decided to copy Leighton Meester's preppy look from the hit US series.

Showing off her legs and her post-Dubai tan, the actress paired the thigh-skimming Topshop shorts with matching fitted jacket, a cut-price version of the classic Chanel suits worn by the conniving character.
Underneath, she wore a dusky pink shirt, unusually buttoned up to the neck. a pair of matching Kurt Geiger pink heels, and of course bare legs.

The actress scraped back her hair into a top knot in one of her favourite styles, and added a bangle on one wrist, keeping the look as simple as possible.
She added bright pink lipstick and heavy, smoky eyes and posed as a friend took a snap of outfit, before she posted it to all her followers on her social networking site.
Helen also decided to create a mood board to show her fans just what had inspired her to try out the new look.

She paired a picture of character Blair with a doll wearing a Chanel outfit, as well as a picture of her outfit, next to a designer handbag in her suitcase, under a caption that read: 'Mood board inspiration for my outfit today #BlairWaldorf.'
Played by US star Leighton, Blair was known for her designer twist on preppy, New York style and her bitchy attitude to her friends.
The day before, the I'm A Celebrity star had obviously had a shopping spree and tweeted pictures of the Topshop bag which contained her new outfit.
Wanting everyone to know just how much she loves high street fashion, she wrote: 'live in Topshop #highstreetgirloverdesigneranyday.'
