Venom 3 has a script, according to Tom Hardy's Instagram.
The Eddie Brock star posted an annotated screenshot of its front cover today (June 16), confirming the threequel's story was dreamt up by himself and Kelly Marcel, while she earns the sole writing credit.
This follows last year's Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which was a marked improvement on the original movie and achieved over $500 million at the box office.

Speaking to Digital Spy last autumn, Hardy (who'll next headline Netflix's Havoc) discussed a possible third Venom blockbuster.
"These things [usually] come in threes. If there's going to be a new one – and they depend heavily on the success of each individual one, so you can't count on them ever happening again – every one has got to be as if it was the last one.
"But I think it's really important, if you go into something, thinking that one, two and three are the same... the same story, the same film. So that you don't surprise yourself by being caught out by suddenly having to do a third from nowhere," he added.
Judging by a new Instagram Stories upload, where the Inception star teased the symbiote's "last dance", it could be the last outing.

After Let There Be Carnage opened the door to the multiverse, Eddie made a very brief cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home before being zapped back into his own reality.
Will the gigantic beast cross this cinematic threshold for a second time? No Way Home writers Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna believe there's potential.
Let's hope Venom 3 makes it so.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is out now on DVD and Blu-ray.
