Chevron Marine Engine Oil Symbol 9250 is a high quality, high performance marine engine oil.

Features

• Chevron Marine Engine Oil Symbol 9250 is manufactured using highly refined, high viscosity index paraffinic base oils to meet the critical demands of marine trunk piston-type diesel engines using relatively high sulfur diesel fuel. It is compounded to promote outstanding engine protection and performance in trunk piston marine engines operating under moderate conditions. An effective detergent-dispersant package helps prevent piston lacquering, ring sticking and controls deposits throughout the engine. Rust and oxidation inhibitors are added to help prevent rust and to minimize oxidation of the lubricant. Alkaline reserves neutralize acids which result from fuel combustion by-products. Chevron Marine Engine Oil Symbol 9250 is designed to minimize piston deposits, especially in critical areas around the ring belt, piston skirts and helps to keep rings free. Debris which could cause problems within the engine are dispersed and kept in suspension until it is drained, or they are removed by filtration. The FZG pass stage (Stage 12) of Chevron Marine Engine Oil Symbol 9250 helps assure excellent antiwear protection in metal-to-metal contacts throughout the engine.
