She's the poster girl for chic, with her timeless wardrobe and sharp red carpet looks.

And Rosamund Pike's latest red-carpet look doesn't disappoint.

Wearing a deep burgundy blazer crafted from soft velvet with floral appliqué, Rosamund showed why the classic tuxedo look will never go out of style. Beneath her jacket was a classic white collared shirt. To complete her look, Rosamund wore an exaggerated black bow tie.

Rosamund went for pared-down jewellery, opting for small pearl earrings, while her hair was casually swept back from her face.

The actress - who is perhaps best known for her role in the film adaptation of Gillian Flynn's bestselling novel, Gone Girl, which earned her an Oscar nomination- lives in Prague with her partner and their two sons. The family relocated to Czech Republic when Gillian was filming The Wheel of Time, but have stayed put ever since the pandemic hit.

As for her latest role, Rosamund plays matriarch, Elspeth Catton, in Saltburn (directed by Call The Midwife star, Emerald Fennell).

Starring Jacob Elordi as protagonist, the film follows the story of an Oxford University student who finds himself plunged into the charming world of his aristocratic classmate, when he's invited to the sprawling estate of his friend's eccentric family, for a summer never to be forgotten.

‘Elspeth is a gift of a character to play because she is so self-obsessed and funny because of that and vain and has a view of herself that really only she holds,’ Rosamund said in an interview with Grazia. ‘And she’s also kind of fabulous as well.’
