After her wedding to film director Lewis, Harriet is dismayed to learn that he has invited Noella and Edmund to join them on their honeymoon. Lewis intends to use Harriet's hidden desires for Edmund as the material for his latest film, but he soon finds himself competing to regain his bride.

Well, that's more orgasm's than anyone could possibly live through, my god. One of the main things I get from this book is, friends like that you don't need enemies. Interesting story, but I think I was more shocked by the 1st book, but am so glad they found each other again. Very daring thing to do so early in a marriage, just to find the reality of a movie, not sure as a new bride so head over heals I would have gone there. Love the fact that love & sex together, win over just the technical abilities to reach a climax. Very erotic, but sometimes too much play & not enough love, is as Harriet said, "not enough". Well worth the read if of only to finnish the journey, but is there is a 3rd, might be pushing the concept to over kill. Average read.
Well after reading the first book 'Dark Secret' I was looking forward to seeing what happened and I must say it took a while to get into this book mainly cause it started out similar to Dark Secret.
Lewis is making another film and using Harriet as the main character. The film will be of her forbidden desires for his good friend and financial backer, Edmund. What Lewis didn't bargain on, was Harriet enjoying yourself too much with Edmund and the fact that she could take her Forbidden Desires to the point of love, his worst fear of losing her.
Once I got into the story I really enjoyed it. Once again Ms Anderson took you into the story with detail, all the characters were acting out their desires and this time the sex scenes were even more raunchy. Did Lewis's worst fear come true, did Harriet choose the right man, did Edmund get who he wanted, was it a happy ending for everyone else, enjoy the book.
dont know why but i cant help but to feel that it was like as if it was written by a man. the sex seems manual and detached and void of both emotion and true desire. wished it was as good as it should be. but nevertheless, it was entertaining but not exciting.
I liked this story, it kept me reading, it was very similar to dark secret....I felt that although I wanted Lewis and Harriet to stay together, the ending was very rushed!

So I decided to read her books back to back, attempt to. This one kind of upset me I'm all for flirtatious fun, but not bets.. hope that doesn't spoil it for anyone. There is no need to test the limits to a relationship SO SOON.
Well, well, well what can I say about this book. Reading this book was like watching a train wreck, knowing that you shouldn't be watching but can't seem to turn away from it. This made me feel very angry reading this most of the time. Anger at Lewis for being so stupid to allow this charade to go on. Angry at Harriet for going along with this. Then throw in the mix of bringing in Harriet's best friend who tries to seduce Lewis just to get a role in the movie.
I was glad when Lewis realised his feelings for Harriet were deeper then he ever thought and so was glad when he did have touches of jealousy just so I knew that he did actually have some sort of heart. Unfortunately that still wasn't enough for him to put an end to this game they were all playing.
I was glad in the end when Harriet realised that she needed love as well as sex and without the two it was meaningless for her. After everything that happened and Lewis and Harriet finally finding their way back to one another Lewis assures Harriet there will be no more movies involving them but then starts fantasising about his wife with another man....not again!!!
Wow another deeply pleasurable read. I though the sequel "Dark Secret" had hot sexual moments and plenty of orgasms well not as much as this one. Love or lust which one is most important. The two main characters from Dark Secret Lewis and Harriet got married and are on their honeymoon. Harriet is dismayed to learn that Lewis has invited his married friends Noella and Edmund which Harriet finds something hot and dangerous about Edmund and would love to explore that further but Lewis is unknown to this. The events that take place on this holiday are a sexual rollercoaster and the characters are pushed to there upmost sexual and relationship limits. Has Lewis done the right thing this time or has he finally lost the love of his life. Read and go on another great sexual journey with these great characters. You won't regret it.
Well this book was certainly better than the first one (Dark Secret) I wasn't quite on edge with this book because we'd covered some pretty out there scenes with the first book however again i found myself irritated with the constant distance between the American's and British during certain conversations.
I enjoyed the fact that in book one i began to slowly hate the main male character and in book two he got everything he deserved, at least we got to see some real emotion and some explanation as to his actions.
I found myself enjoying the contract between the two alpha males and was surprised to find the second male much more dominant and aggressive in his sexual behavior which tends to be the persona given to the 'top dog' in a story.
In basic terms this book was what it set out to be, a tale of sex, scandal and eventual divorce (i'm not saying who with though) it got the pulse racing and that's what the author set out to do.
Did not like this book. I don't like it when the premise involves someone misleading or deceiving someone just for fun, a TV show, whatever the reason and if it starts off there then the redemption of the character throughout the book has to be written in and be believable or it won't work for me, and in this case it didn't.
Lewis annoyed the hang out of me for even thinking of doing what they planned but then to carry it on made it worse. Harriet annoyed me for going through with said stupid plan and Harriets best friend was just adding another annoying idiot into the mix!
I simply HATED Harriet's best friend Ella in this book, okay I know this book is about 'Forbidden Desires' but she is Harriet's best friend so she should know that her friends husband is OFF LIMITS.. but NO once she's a moment alone with Lewis (Harriet's husband) she undresses herself to show him she has the perfect body to be in his new film.. Nice best friend she is!
It was a quick reading experience. Nothing much to say about this book. The plot, characters and scenes were disturbing and didn't quite emulate. Wish the relationship in b/w Harriet and Lewis was more romantic than it was in the book. Noella looked disposable and the way Lewis used Harriet to accomplish his carrier dreams was surreal to me.
Lewis, Lewis, Lewis. You pushed her into an affair and then you get jealous how could you. Your lucky your buddy pushed her to far and not into his life forever. I am glad things ended the way they did.
This is the sequel to "Dark Secret".I found this to be an incredibly easy read and i had trouble putting it down. The storyline is quite interesting and the emotions and feelings of the characters are tested to the extreme.what's more important?love or lust?
This book was even more unrealistic than the first one! Lewis was an asshole the whole way through the book and Harriet made decisions that were so stupid, you wouldn’t believe it. The only thing I liked about this book was the romance between Noella and Oliver, who aren’t even the main characters.
