There are several reasons why you should put this plant from West Africa in Your aquarium.
Firstly, because of its rare brown-red color which gives spectacular contrast bouth with green and red plants. It is not very demanding species but it shows its full potential only in appropriate conditions (bright lightening, sufficient amounts of CO2 (25-30 mg/l), soft and slightly acidic water with addition of nutrients. Propagation is very easy, just cut a stem anywhere and replant it. Because of its fast growth it is not recommended for tanks smaller than 100 l.
