A real highlight in the south of the Volkspark Dutzendteich - and in a certain sense an anticipatory, namely already 1928 counter-design to the monumentality of the large Nazi buildings of the so-called Nazi party rally grounds - is the octagon of the Max Morlock Stadium (formerly: Frankenstadion), in which the "club" plays its home games.

The Max-Morlock-Stadion (since July 1st, 2017; originally municipal stadium; later also Frankenstadion) is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the largest central Franconian city of Nuremberg. The sports facility is one of the few large stadiums in Germany that still has facilities for athletics. It is named after the soccer player Max Morlock.Source Wikipedia
