Roxana Saberi Working for CBS News as London Correspondent

She wrote and published a book on her experience in Iran in 2010

FARGO, N.D. — A Concordia College graduate, former Miss North Dakota and former prisoner of Iran is now working for CBS News as a London-based correspondent.

Roxana Saberi graduated from Fargo North in 1994 and from Concordia College in 1997.

She was also crowned Miss North Dakota in ’97 and worked for a local news station before joining several major international news organizations in the Middle East.

Saberi was imprisoned in Iran for 100 days in 2009 after being accused of spying for the United States.

She wrote and published a book on her experience in Iran in 2010.
