Kalundborg is growing like never before and has production facilities that are larger than any other parts of the country. More than 2,600 new jobs were created since January 2022, that's close to 100 every month! We are looking for a skilled project leader who thrives on planning and executing complex projects in our large process plant. The job is a combination of extensive planning followed by intense execution phases. Your background is within mechanical engineering, or you have experience within the fitting industry or as a blacksmith combined with construction or project management. And the Kalundborg Refinery Award 2024 goes to… 🥁 … Associate Professor Gerald Englmair.   On Friday April 12th, the Kalundborg Refinery Award 2024 was awarded to Gerald Englmair, Associate Professor at DTU Construct. He received the award for his research into the use of thermal storage which can contribute to increased utilisation of renewable energy in the energy system.   Congratulations to Gerald Englmair.   The award ceremony was held in beautiful settings at the National Museum of Denmark. Here, Gerald Englmair was celebrated by previous awardees, the award committee, the board of the Kalundborg Refinery Foundation and representatives from Kalundborg Refinery 🎉   The Kalundborg Refinery Award is the oldest technology award in Denmark. It's a jampacked job fair stand! 😁 We couldn't help but feel happy and positively overwhelmed when many engineering students dropped by our stand. Participating in the DSE job fair at DTU Lyngby, Copenhagen was worth all the planning and preparations.   Our purpose was to promote Kalundborg Refinery as an attractive workplace... because we believe we are 🙌 Here, colleagues are given the chance to thrive and build a career that maximizes their growth potential 💯 To meet promising candidates face to face, hear their career aspirations, and spot possible opportunities were simply an interesting and enriching experience ❤ By the way, congratulations to Sonia for winning our mini-contest.
