THE CARNIVAL IN MADEIRA IS HERE!
We all know the Carnival in Brasil and being with Belmond I sure do know how well our sister hotel Belmond Copacabana Palace know to party! but if you are looking for something just as good but a little closer to home, how about Madeira.
We samba just as well, I can tell you and the party goes on for the whole weekend, poor me I don't want to work! from Travesti night, to hippe night to the actual parade on Saturday, you will be stunned at how much there really is to do and see at this time of year in Madeira. I remember my first Carnival here, I was gobsmacked at how good these people dance and the costumes they are just amazing just like Rio, even the temperature is great, yes in February you can except a mild 20ºC for our winter!
