SunSpring Hybrid, World Water Crisis, breaking the technological stereotype!

The SunSpring Hybrid was invented by and is manufactured by Innovative Water Technologies, Inc. (IWT), located in small town, Rocky Ford, Colorado, USA.

Similar to what technology has done for transportation and communications with modern automobiles and phones ... the SunSpring Hybrid is doing for the Worlds Water Crisis, but first we must break the "technological stereotype". Enough with the low tech - no tech products that actually make peoples lives tougher by making them attempt to treat their own drinking water with humiliating gadgets. Our goal is to offer a product that will lessen the "water burden" on our consumers, rather than increase the "water burden". With the SunSpring Hybrid we do not advocate our consumers having to spend hours every day collecting raw water and hauling raw water home, exposing themselves to the very contaminants we are trying to protect them from, then only to have to try and treat the water themselves in unsanitary conditions and with marginal water treatment systems. While most portable water solutions that are being offered to developing countries may make the water cleaner, better or safer, they do not make it safe. We simply want our consumers to come to the SunSpring Hybrid and get the safe drinking water they need for the day and move on to more productive things for their communities and for their families.

The SunSpring Hybrid is a portable, self enclosed, decentralized, fresh water, solar and wind powered microbiological drinking water purification system that is capable of treating up to and exceeding 20,000 liters per day for up to and exceeding 10 years. The SunSpring Hybrid has no consumables and is designed to be used in the most remote locations in the World. The water treatment is achieved with stainless steel strainers and prefilters that can be cleaned and reused for the life of the system. Then we utilize membrane ultra-filtration that are a physical barrier to not only particulate and turbidity, but also to bacteria, virus and cysts. The 5 miles of UF membranes (.02 micron pore size) in each SunSpring Hybrid automatically back washes from one to twenty four times a day. The systems power is provided by both solar and wind technology and stored in internal batteries for use day or night, rain or shine. The SunSpring Hybrid even has a 3 plug power station for charging cell phones, its even a power station. The technology utilized is state of the art, yet the system is easily maintained by locals and can be set up and operational in just hours. The SunSpring Hybrid comes in one crate and the entire system including spare parts, a maintenance kit, a tool kit, a piping kit, and many extras, weighs less than 1000 lbs (300 lbs of which is the crate). Once installed the SunSpring Hybrid operates on free solar and wind energy and has no consumables. The internal standard pump pressurizes the system and produces drinking water at 4-5 gallons per minute. We can even add an optional submersible pump that can be used in wells up to 200 feet deep. The SunSpring Hybrid is a true decentralized drinking water system, ready for use virtually anywhere in the World. All components are approved for use with drinking water and are non corrosive.

We currently have about 450 systems located in 28 countries and growing. The SunSpring Hybrid is perfect for emergency response, disaster preparedness, villages, hospitals, orphanages, churches, community centers, military, relocation camps, refugee camps, camp grounds, resorts, etc... We even have them on top of high rise buildings to provide the entire building with safe drinking water, eliminating the need for bottled water.
