New customizable moonkin form = druids for all races

Druids are getting a brand new moonkin form model in 10.2 complete with new animations and full customization of color, horns, adornments, special effects, etc. The customization options are akin to that of a playable race. They’ve also opened up all of the racial forms to all races.

On top of that, in the newest ptr build, all of the old racial/unlockable forms (including cat, bear, and travel) have been renamed and changed to be “full transformations” much like the full transformation dragon customizations so there will be baseline customizations for all forms and likely random “full transformation” forms added here and there. Cat, bear, and travel form customizations are likely already being worked on.

This is being done not just as a facelift for the class but also likely to open up druids to all races. Future druid races will probably not have their own racial forms and will instead pick from the new customizable forms or the outdated racial "full transformation" forms.

Very plausible! Also opens up, much like the new warlock customizations, the opportunity to also add a ton of long demanded customizations in. Drust wickerman moonkin form? Sure, why not? Giant chonk cat form? Absolutely possible and please Blizzard take my money.

Definitely a good way around the problem of having to have new models for every race and slowly add more options
