HAMAS and NAZI Germany

Hamas Nazi

The official emblem of Hamas and the Nazi flag.

As a former teacher I’ve authored four novels on the US Civil War as well as a book on the French Resistance in WW 2. Therefore with a measure of historical facts may I present some major similarities that exist between Hamas today and Nazi Germany before WW 2. For example:

Both states used ill treatment as a reason for armed aggression; Hamas over Israel’s political, economic and physical restrictions and Germany over the military and economic hardships imposed by the Treaty of Versailles. Both the Gaza Strip and Nazi Germany dictatorships impose(ed) harsh reprisals on their citizens if anyone oppose(ed) their regimes. Hamas in the Gaza Strip (Fatah in the West Bank) and the Gestapo, SS in Germany. Thus basic civil rights in both states were/are severely restricted such as freedom of speech, assembly and the press amongst others. Whereas both states were/are anti-Semitic in the extreme, Hamas (known as the Islamic Resistance Movement, a Sunni Islamic political and military organization) is fanatically dedicated to the eradication of Israel through force of arms. In retrospect the Nazi regime purposely murdered 6 million Jews.

Over time both Hamas and Nazi Germany develop(ed) an effective propaganda machine. Hamas through internet social media and fake news and Joseph Goebbels (head of Nazi propaganda) through diplomatic channels, the press and radio to appease any overseas opposition (especially the USA where Nazi Americans openly paraded about), to generate moral and financial support for Hitler’s regime. Today thousands around the world parade about in support of Hamas.

Both parties developed a large military (in proportion to their male population) through clandestine means in secrecy (supported by a Sunni theocracy and a vast civilian majority) in violation of UN (Hamas-the al Qassam Brigade) and Germany (army, navy and air force) of the League of Nations. To help this armament process, Hamas and Nazi Germany use(ed) indoctrination of Gazian youth (since 1987) and Hitler Youth (since 1933). Through their schools, and military summer camps mass psychological brainwashing was utilized to control and grow their organizations.

Hamas like Nazi Germany know/knew that in the initial stages, the UN would do nothing as the League of Nations did nothing to stop Hitler while they had the chance. Hamas is hoping that the Arab world will be hoodwinked into helping them destroy Israel.

In conclusion, Hamas attacked Israel Oct 7, 2023. Thus Israel has retaliated in force against Hamas as the Allies did against Nazi Germany in WW 2. Both Hamas will and Nazi Germany did not surrender despite the massive suffering of their civilian populations. Sadly, history repeats itself as evidenced and as such the Hamas-Israeli war will spread as it did in WW 2.
