Project description
OBO delivered cable trays for the LED lightning inside the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The Philips Stadium is not only an eternal icon of Eindhoven, but is also inextricably linked to the Dutch football champion PSV. Together with the club, the building company Heijmans and Philips have optimized the stadium by adjusting the lightning. OBO delivered RKSM cable trays for the LED lightning, that is mounted above the grandstand.
Why did the customer choose OBO products?
PSV has chosen the OBO products, because of their size and the fact that they matched the construction requirements so well. The OBO products fitted neatly behind the seats and could be quickly delivered in the right color. The building company Heijmans was fascinated by the different solutions OBO could offer and how they made the look very neat.
The OBO RKSM was mounted in different ways inside the Philips Stadium. One part is mounted on C brackets, another one on AW30 brackets and there is also a part that was directly screwed to the wall.
Were special solutions used?
PSV Eindhoven wanted to have LED advertising signs under the second ring of the stadium. These boards are powered and controlled by cables routed inside OBO cable trays RKSM in color RAL 9010.
