It's a disappointing start for Alaves, as they are beaten in the opening game by R Madrid

R Madrid made a fine start in the new LaLiga campaign with victory against Alaves. Today's result, Alaves are in 20th place on the table and has 0 points while RMA sit in 1st with 3 points after 1 match.

Following a goalless first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on RMA who started the second half well, with an early goal from Karim Benzema in the 48th minute. Los Blancos looked to have the game under control when they scored again and incerased their lead, thanks to a goal from Nacho at the 56 minute mark to establish a 2-0. The momentum was now with RMA, who then scored again through a second effort from Karim Benzema, at 62 minutes to establish a 3-0. However, The glorious one weren't lying down and managed to pull back a goal from Joselu in the 65th minute. In the end though, Los Blancos secured the points emphatically, with a goal from Vinicius Junior just before the final whistle. The game ended with a 4-1 win for RMA.

For Alaves, John Guidetti, Mamadou Loum, Ivan Martin, Facundo Pellistri and Toni Moya, came on for Manu Garcia, Pere Pons, Luis Rioja, Edgar Mendez and Tomas Pina. RMA brought on Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Isco, Marco Asensio and Luka Jovic, to replace Eden Hazard, Gareth Bale, Federico Valverde, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema.

There were bookings for Manu Garcia from Alaves, and Gareth Bale and Thibaut Courtois, for RMA.

In the second round of action in the LaLiga Alaves will play against Mallorca at home and RMA will play against Levante away.
