German Football Club Dynamo Dresden Finds New Stadium Naming-Rights Partner

German 3rd League football club Dynamo Dresden has reached a new stadium naming-rights deal with DDV Mediengruppe. The deal, which takes effect immediately, will run until June 30, 2020. In addition to the naming rights, DDV receives ad space in camera view, logo presence and promotional opportunities at the stadium. DDV's branding will be installed on the stadium facade during the next several weeks. The new name of the stadium is DDV Stadion. The deal was brokered by Lagardère Sports (Lagardère Sports). SPONSORs' Frieder Schilling reported DDV pays an estimated €350,000 ($386,000) annually for the rights. The club and DDV both have an extraordinary termination clause after one-and-half years. Previous naming-rights partner Goldgas paid a reported €500,000 ($551,000) (SPONSORs, 2/25).
