We're just so in love, says Chelsea captain

Chelsea's John Terry has arrived back in the UK, hand in hand with his wife Toni Poole.

Poole fled to Dubai two weeks ago following reports that her husband had an affair with the lingerie model Vanessa Perroncel, the mother of his England team-mate Wayne Bridge's son.

Terry was stripped of the England captaincy and flew out to Dubai last Thursday in a bid to save his marriage. The pair were seen at Heathrow airport late last night, with their two children.

"Everything is now cool," Terry told the Sun. "We know how we feel about each other and that is the main thing. Our relationship has never been knocked down. We're just so in love."

Poole added: "We're very strong as a couple – always have been. John came over to see me and the kids and enjoy a few days in the hot weather."
