VANESSA Perroncel has always denied an alleged affair with married footballer John Terry following her split from his England and Chelsea team mate Wayne Bridge.
So who is she and what happened? Here's the lowdown...
Who is Vanessa Perroncel?
Vanessa is a lingerie model who was born in France in 1976.
Before becoming connected to the footballing world, Vanessa appeared in a music video for Staines 'rude boy' parody character, Ali G.
She also had a brief appearance in the film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phanton of the Opera.
Vanessa then became known as a WAG when she was spotted alongside the glamorous other halves of the England football players during the 2006 World Cup.
These included Cheryl (who at the time was Cheryl Cole, but has now reverted to her maiden name Tweedy) and Coleen Rooney.
She has one son, Jaydon, with her ex, Wayne Bridge.
What happened between Wayne Bridge and Vanessa Perroncel?
Football ace Wayne Bridge dated Vanessa for four years - after first meeting in 2005.
The professional footballer has played for Chelsea, Manchester City and England during his career.
In November 2006, she gave birth to their son, Jaydon Jean Claude before they split in 2009.
What happened with John Terry?
Soon after she split from Bridge, Vanessa was claimed to have had an affair with his married team mate John Terry.
Her friends claimed that John had seduced her as she comforted her over the break-up.
In January 2010, she became the subject of a super-injunction imposed by a High Court judge which prevented the press reporting the allegations - but it was lifted a week later.
To this day, Vanessa has continued to deny that she had been secretly seeing the footballer behind the back of his wife, Toni.
Bridge later withdrew from England’s World Cup squad to avoid lining up alongside his former friend who he snubbed at a Chelsea and Manchester City by refusing to shake his hand.
Earlier this year it was reported that she had grown close to Cheryl’s now-ex-husband Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
And a few years back she was linked to Katie Price’s ex-husband Alex Reid after they attended a celebrity party together.
