Logitech has issued two updates today, the Wave Keyboard and the MX1100 mouse. The cordless combo can be had in a bundle, or the mouse can be had separately, in which case it foregoes the rechargeable battery and instead runs on a couple of AAs.

The bundled mouse actually uses a USB cord for charging, which means that although you'll be tethered, you can keep on mousing while it gets juiced. This is a distinct improvement on the otherwise excellent MX1000, which had a big ugly charging station and power cord, into which the mouse would never quite sit.

The Desktop Wave Pro is all about the curves, with a double contoured keyboard (U-shaped from above and a shallow W-shape from the front) and curved a palm rest. You also get a row of media buttons along the top.

Both keyboard and mouse use the 2.4 GHz frequency instead of Bluetooth. This does mean you'll need a dongle, but it also means less interference and more accurate tracking.

Available soon, the mouse alone will cost $80, while the kit will be $130.
