• Model Molly Sims says she's feeling "stronger than ever" after back surgery.
  • In a new Instagram video, she walked her followers through her workout routine.
  • The actress also opened up about her recovery and healing process.

Molly Sims is "feeling stronger than ever" one year after undergoing a lumbar disc replacement surgery. The model and actress, 50, opened up about her recovery process and shared an Instagram video of herself looking toned and fit as she crushed an intense cardio and strength workout.

"It’s officially been one year post back surgery and feeling STRONGER than ever💪 my recovery was… well longer than I had expected. 🤪 I thought it would be an easy bounce back and honestly, that wasn’t always the case," she wrote in the caption. "I still have moments I have to be cautious but the last couple of months I’ve actually felt like I’m back in a really strong place. So grateful to @itserikarae and @formapilatesla ❤️ you kick my butt and keep me consistent."

In the video, Molly starts her workout with intervals on the treadmill. She jogs for one minute, runs for one minute, and walks for one minute, repeating this cycle four times to get her heart rate up. She then grabs a 10-pound dumbbell and does single leg Russian deadlifts before moving into reverse lunges followed by weighted split squats and pulses to work her lower body.

Next, Molly is onto strengthening her core. She workouts on a Pilates reformer, mastering variations of ab curls with: double leg extensions, alternating single leg extensions, and lat sweeps.

Then, for a full-body finisher, she does shoulder taps with a blue block resting on her lower back, which she says "helps make sure you aren't moving your hips too much."
