Great hearing protection
I already had 1 pair and decided to get 2 more to help teach new folks at the range and I also use these for construction noise suppression. They work great, long battery life, and quality is top tier. Only downside is they are a bit bulky if you're looking to cheekweld. Overall if you're looking for top performance for reasonable cost on hearing protection I would recommend this. Probably the WORST Peltor model I have ever bought
I have a lot of Peltor earmuffs. This one was expensive and a HUGE disappointment. I went to the shooting range last week and used it. They claim 24db noise reduction --- no way. I went home with my ears ringing. It is Much louder than my other similarly rated headsets. It has the WORST headband on it of any of my headsets (worse even than my $29 bargain headsets) --- far worse. It is not 'soft' in any way, in fact they made a plastic ridge in the center of it that is quite uncomfortable. Perhaps it is a good product for other uses, but for shooting, it falls completely flat. I will buy more headsets in the future, but probably never again a Peltor --- they should know better. They USED to do better, what happened? It is going into my 'expensive but not very good' bucket. I have a lot of Peltor earmuffs. This one was expensive and a HUGE disappointment. Better than expected
I had been looking for a set of earmuffs that worked and especially fit. I ran across a used Peltor set at a pawn shop, not knowing the brand I was impressed. I ended up leaving with out them but later realized I should have got them. Well they ended up selling prior to my return. So after a little brand research online I decided to buy this set. I sure am happy I did. The fit is great, I can still carry a conversation well wearing them, they connect to my phone via bluetooth and they actually muffle the higher decibel sound. I know I will not be shopping for another brand. Definitely worth a shot.I had been looking for a set of earmuffs that worked and especially fit. Best electronic headset I have owned
I have owned 3 previous headsets, but this unit is more comfortable and block out an amazing amount of noise at the range BEFORE I turn on the electronics! Speech is easier to comprehend and the cut out of sharp noises is exactly what I wanted. Not inexpensive, but a great product.
