is there easier way to add spiky texture to a body

this is the bodythis is the bodyAlternatif Desain 1 - Citta Candraditya Prabowo.jpg

hi, so i made a 3d toy design inspired by durian, and i'm having trouble at adding the spiky texture all over the body, is there any easier way? I tried to apply it one by one but it takes so much time.

Hi

Thanks for posting. I can give you a solution but it requires you to export your fusion model to stl or obj and import it to another Autodesk software Meshmixer. There you can use a brush (like the mesh software works) to create these spiky texture.

Here is a screencast for you

Interesting question,

I tried to do something similar, it appears my spikes are more prismatic rather than organic. This is what I got in a couple of minutes:

I sketched two spikes, then created a circular pattern so it goes all around the body except for the front face. Then, I created a rectangular pattern so I could drag that one instance of spikes down to appear all over the body.

I got inspired by this video, check it out and see if it helps you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaBtlb0f4qA
